If you copy a component from one design then «Paste New» it into another design, F360 seems to randomly re-orient and re-position it.
This is annoying because if there are several components that need to maintain placement relative to their original placement in a new design, that's broken by default. (in my current case, three components are re-centered and for some reason at right angles to each other when they should be aligned with the same orientation and a fixed relative placement)
What would be great is to be able to by default copy and paste and have position and orientation (especially relative to other pasted components) preserved.
We can kludge this now by putting everything into a new component then pasting that component into the new design, but that's very clunky and requires a lot of major surgery on a design that probably already has a specific hierarchy for a good reason.
