Machine from projected geometry

Machine from projected geometry

Can we PLEASE have the ability to machine from projected geometry!
Having a parametric software that can't machine from projected geometry and needs to be un-linked and manually changed each time is crazy dumb.

I don't have any problem machining projected geometry. Have you got some examples you can show on the CAM forum? Mark

Hi Mark,

Just rebooted Fusion a few times and it seems to have downloaded 3 updates...... I have no idea why, Fusion is like that sometimes.

Anyway, it appears I now can machine from projected geometry BUT, when selecting open chains it's extremely hard to see what's going on. Click the first line and it changes to blue, click the next few lines and no colour changes happen. You havebto select the "+" symbol to accept the geometry, check it out and then go again if there are more to do.

So for the most part, it seems to work .... but it's still pretty rough and clunky. Projected geometry that's been machined doesn't seem to update if the model changes. I have to reselect it all - very difficult when the colour doesn't change as I don't know what I've selected.
