Lock view
I am a SpaceNavigator user, I would like to have a view lock button on the upper right view selection cube. For instance, if I change to Front view, I can lock the view so the view will not be rotate when I accidentally touch the SpaceNavigator.
I had a similar idea two years ago, I find rotations annoying especially in sketch mode where I only want to pan and zoom so my idea was to lock rotations automatically when entering a sketch. This is the default behavior in other CAD packages (I know it is in CATIA anyway...).
I recently updated the Spacemouse drivers and it looks like 3Dconnexion have added a menu (at least on the Mac drivers) when you press the right button, in the menu you can select "Rotations On/Off".
