Sketch dimensions mainly work in 2D for lines.
I wish this would work like in Alias also in 3D space.
The approach via sketch planes to get some 2D constraint and local movement is doable
but really makes the design more like a card house with a lot of extra work required to set it up.
in the screenshot you can see the line being dimensioned and rotated via the object property
this is so easy and fast.

models like this are inredible fast to build because I can use local orientation for CV movement without having
to use sketch planes and the align G0 functions the same way as point constraints like in Fusion.
In the end I have a fully interactive wiremess as well with less work and more flexebility.
