Lead in, lead out

I absolutely love this software. It is amazing, I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to use it. Therefore, it pains me to have any complaints, but there are a few features that I wish would either be added or fixed. The one that is really frustrating me is the lack of control of where exactly the tool path will lead in and lead out. I always select a start/ predrill position but rarely get the results I want. I hope this gets corrected soon.

I just discovered this weakness, and looking at your post, it looks like ADSK doesn't have any interest in correcting what even the most antiquated CAM software offers. If they really want this to be a program used by serious businesses and not just tinkerers, they need to step up and provide something that all their competitors offer.

Yes I agree. I do love the software and think its value that can't be beat but there are some very simple fundamental features that it is lacking in cam. I've posted my suggestions numerous times along with many other users but haven't seen an update to remedy these problems. Good thing is they are constantly updating and improving the software so hopefully they'll fix these things soon.
