A CNC can't do sharp interior corners. There are techniques and even a great add-in by the fantastic @prainsberry to add dogbones in the model space. But these can add complexity, and can bug out when changes are made to some parameters or operations suppressed.
There are also some interesting "sharp corners" options for 2d Contour Cam operations (Although not a lot of guidance on this)
There have also been requests for dog bones options before on the ideas station.
I'd like to reiterate this request, but concentrate in the CAM space, keeping the models simpler and where it really does not seem that far away from the current tools?
Can we have a "remove sharp corners tick box" in the cutting 2D profile operation? This could just add an over cam to a internal corner to allow square objects to be inserted (often raised in the forums)? I've attached a sketch. I've avoided arcs in the corners, because in my experience some CNC machines slow right down for arcs and can catch fire - but the key here is with the overshoot relief, a square cut sharped cornered item can be inserted into the cut/pocket.
Thanks
