inserting images to be rendered

inserting images to be rendered

I have worked on a few projects already where Ive wanted to throw in a .png or .JPEG to be incorporated into the final render  or at least image capture in fusion. both options have a few things that just don't make what seems to be easy result in anything useful. If I just capture image in the render work space, this almost works except the image if inserted on a face of a layered object for example a picture frame the image shows through both the frame and the acrylic. The rendering option requires I turn it into a material which is just painful, fusion is making things easier that don't need to be complicated from what I can tell this is one of them that should be on your list. If I slap an image on a face behind acrylic Even if rendered I should only see the image through acrylic not through the frame. Any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated.
