infinite precision math with tolerances

infinite precision math with tolerances

I know the sketching / projected geometry bug is fixed in the next release, but there seem to be a lot of math / precision related issues and there are lots of cases where I’ll see something like 2.171*10^-7 degrees for something that is actually zero.

It’d be great if you replaced the underlying floats (/ more likely doubles?) with infinite precision plus uncertainty objects.

Closely related but I’d love to be able to optionally specify tolerances along with numeric values (and to be able to quickly change those across a design to account for different prototyping / manufacturing processes).

As an added bonus, you could mix in error-propagation calculus and we could see the actual tolerances for downstream things based on the specified machining / fabrication tolerances.
