Improvement for move rotate: remember values while in use + timeline

Improvement for move rotate: remember values while in use + timeline

Fusion move rotate tool has two major deficiencies in my opinion:

1. does always forgets the values you used for move rotate when you move rotate again while still having the tool active.

2. the feature entry in the timeline uses the values but does not expose to the user what was used in a previous move command.

Both are two rather very basic and incredible important features to have so you can manage your design better.

Currently to know what I did I would have to use the measure tool and thats more complicated than good.

The Move command definitely needs to be improved.  It is in the timeline, it should act parametric and provide the dimensions to change it easily.  When you redefine the move feature, nothing is remembered about the initial movement.

The Move Feature on the timline, to be a robust parametric feature, needs to remember:

  • The location of the move tool origin used (smae reference every time)
  • The rotation/translation values used, so that quick deviations can be made.

This will make it so those dimensions can be programmed and changed quickly through parameters.
