Move in brep and in t-spline modes should just be unified! Currently they expose somewhat different UIs. What I'm missing sorely with T-splines is the ability to adjust the manipulator's coordinate system (set pivot, the little icon appearing next to the parameter entry box) in local coordinate system mode.
The local mode pivot suggestion is sometimes just right, but often only close. I'm sure that there are a couple of valid heuristics as well that could be exposed as buttons when doing set pivot so that we could easily fix the coordinate system of the manipulator (choose a face, edge, etc). If T-splines were ever to be parameterized, then such higher-level UI concepts would be crucial.
