I too think there should be a regular updation of materials and textures, or they can allow us to form materials manually not just physical properties but appearances also.

I always end up choosing something different material than what I really wanted to have.

Would love to help create an app with surface texture. Tree bark, shingles, siding, stone and so on. Possibly 3d scan and convert to surface texture.
