Zooming in F360 on a MacBook Pro trackpad is done by pinch-zooming the trackpad. This doesn't work great, as the gesture is often ignored and the scaling is often poorly chosen, but the worst part is that it seems to zoom from the center of the window, rather than around the cursor.
It's much more intuitive for the zoom to hold the point under the cursor hot spot stationary with respect to the window. If the gesture also translates during zoom, it should drag the point where the zoom gesture began around.
There are generally a lot of issues with manipulating the design view on a MacBook using the trackpad. These make it very, very difficult to use F360 without an external mouse.
Spending time on these (more than just what I've stated here) will go a long way to making F360 fluid, and will make it feel much faster.
