Import Solid Edge files

Import Solid Edge files

Once sheet metal is launced in Fusion 360 I will be looking to make the move from Solid Edge to Fusion 360. I have a lot of legacy Solid Edge files so it would be nice to be able to directly import .par, .psm, and .asm Solid Edge files without having to save extra .x_t files then opening them in Fusion 360.

Thank you and great work with this game changing software.

I'm in the same boat as you but still have to resort in using SE when it comes to drawings.

I'm not sure how many toolset sheetmetal will provide once it's launched but I doubt it'll be as mature as what's offered in SE unless you don't use those features. You probably don't have to renew your SE license but I'll suggest you to keep it in your computer for a little while longer 🙂
