Import of fusion(.ipt) files

Import of fusion(.ipt) files

It would be great to be able to import a model into another for assembly purposses. It is very useful as I personally have multiple parts that I design and develope seperately and need to put them together into one file. I have used both AD Fusion 360 and AD Inventor (Prefering the latter).

Hopefully my experience can help your situation.  I've had great results pulling multiple cad files (solidworks parts in my case) into a single Fusion file, then inserting that into yet another file as a sub-assembly if you will.  This should work equally as well with inventor files.  I love the fact that I don't have to worry about assembly files vs. part files, which use to frustrate me in other cad tools.  I just drag/drop at will.
