Currently HSM Ultimate lags behind in development and features from its cousin HSM works on Solidworks. I don't want to purchase solid works just to get functionality missing in Fusion and Inventor. Some tool paths just aren't possible with HSM, We cut rock *s l o w l y* .. I'd like to run some tool paths on the 4th axis with a Big blade on the Z axis tipped over to 90deg or so. My paid consultant (Bruno) say's you can't do that yet. He says the following
"I have reported this enhancement request to Autodesk and I have asked if there is any estimative for getting the new 4th axis features that HSMWorks has into Fusion360 and\or Inventor HSM. So I will let you know when if I get an update."
Bruno is a great guy, and has included a work around, He knows all ! But my point is, the feature is there in the cousin software, PLEASE bring it to Inventor and Fusion HSM ulti.
New features and gwiz tools that have priority don't help me if I have to run solidworks to get the job done.
