hotkey cycling tool type

hotkey cycling tool type

For example if i want to draw a circle, i press "c", which is my shortcut for drawing centerpoint circle. It would be cool if by pressing again my shortcut, tool type cycled within circle drawing options. Even as an option to turn on in settings. One thing that may be challenging is when using preseted values, like when for example for somebody's setup "c" equals numeric 10 for example. then pressing hotkey again may cause not cycling but entering value or the other way around. How about enabling tool cycling only using Modifier+[key]. what do you think?

This is a great idea, but I like how SolidWorks does this.  They assign a key ("a" by default) to toggle the selection.  That way "c" in your case brings up the most commonly used circle type, then "a" toggles between the center point circle, 3 point, etc. "r" can be 2 point corner rectangle, then "a" toggles between that and 3-point, center rectangle, etc.  There are a few other postings like this that I suggest you support as well.  I think I may have even had one along these lines - I know I have at least made comments on others in the past.  But do a search and support the other ideas as well.  Hopefully we can get this incorporated some day.
