highlight sketch objects that cause a warning -> simple fixing allowed

Hi,

I sometimes get warnings for a sketch when modifying underlaying sketches or features. The shreenshot shows an example of a failes projection due to missing points. I'd like to delete the point from cache and project another suitable point to constrain other sketch objects.

I'd like a feature (e.g. in the warning dialog)  to highlight the cache point. Maybe just by setting a transparancy property for all other sketch objects. This would help understand and fix the warnings !

Thanks,

Stefan

I have voted for this but I think it a Bug! I've noticed this problem, normally the point will show yellow in the sketch but if you have several line end points constrained to the projected point it stays black and you need to delete all the constraints and move the endpoints, not fun if you have a lot of points to guess which one.

good to know that it's supposed to be different. I had some sketches with
yellow projected lines or points, but onces the are coincident with other
objects they GO STEALTH ...

Also voted for this but the sketch engine is broken in many ways and this seems to be a bug

Has anyone filed a bug report for this?

A workaround for this bug is to unselect "show points" in the sketch palette. This will hide the black points and show the yellow warnings underneath.

Thanks.
Makes sense, I'll give this workaround a try!
