Hatch fill

Hatch fill

It will a crazy feactur the possibility to create pattern on a surface. I mean organic or cristal patterns (which I think I can do with geometrical forms). But specifically I wish a feature to create organic flows as the picture inside a body. Point is to reduce the material needed to print in 3D.

Thanks!

Not sure if they're ever going to release it but Carl said they have generative modeling in F360 in-house.. would be awesome to get that in the product

In support of this idea... I was looking for a way to illustrate knurling on a part the other day. Yes, I can painstakingly model every facet but that consumes resources that are not really necessary under many circumstances.

That pattern in the attached image is a voronoi pattern. this has been requested before and it would bewonderful to have this in Fusion.

I believe ther is a Voronoi script available for Fusion 360.

Holly Molly TrippyLighting, this Voronoi script SHOULD be part of Fusion 360! Some little refinements and it could be a extremly useful and futuristic tool on the software.

There is a generative team that is looking in to this type of funtionality to be integrated in to Fusion.

Look for further information to be released in the next year.
