Hi,
I have seen more articles and advertisements on generative designs than I have seen in months. Engineers, and designers will miss one of the greatest opportunities if they do not get on board using this capability. So why is it they are not readily or hesitantly trying Generative Design?
MPO:
What Generative Design does and has Greatest potential:
Never before in the history of CAD/CAM, can you generate a design based on structure, geometry and forces and let the software “sculpt” the desired part.
What needs to be done is take the object and regress the generative design structure down to the basic lines and curves of force defined by FEA and rebuild the design with library chosen profiles-(sweep and loft) a new AI Generated skeletal structure that meets all requirements for weight, strength and function.
There has been talk of “growing the part” and I think the partnership with Ansys is vital for GD and to reduce the erroneous options that are not possible to make and be left with options that will work. Truly saving time and money for the customer in their decision making process.
I am open for dialogue on these statements please feel free to comment in the attached section.
John
