Fusion Origami...

As coined by Jeff Strater (Fusion development):

For possible (folding) digital to fabrication scenario see Robofold:

For possible (deformable) digital to additive manufacturing see nettfab selective space structures (spring type cells). Though, I think Autodesk have demonstrated something similar with Spark?

This would also be great for things like Wyss self-assembling robots.

This is in line with our plans for sheet metal capabilities.

I know Idea Station is frozen, by now. Can we observe the developments regarding more origami-friendly sheet metal workflows, somewhere else?

I have a project that would benefit from this, but currently (Nov 2019) sheet metal is not the way to do it, with Fusion 360. Lots of components and joints work, but don't really help in manufacturability. In origami, I'm looking for great customisability and good structural stiffness per material used.
