I use Fusion 360 to create .stl files for models that I intend to produce on my 3D printer. I have had a large number of these models unable to be completed. These models, when stopped by the printer, are stopped because the printer uncovers an "error in the file". After quite a bit of research I am led to the understanding that there are services available that "repair" .stl files. Since all my models are produced using .stl files produced by Fusion 360 I had some .stl files "repaired" that I had been unable to produce with the 3D printer. Once I attempted to produce the models using the "repaired" .stl files, I discovered they COULD be produced! This brings into question "Why would Autodesk produce software that generated errors in its .stl files?"
