Folders for grouping components in the browser tree.

Folders for grouping components in the browser tree.

Screenshot_1.png

It is inconvenient to work with the browser tree with a large list of parts in the assembly. For example fasteners.

We can not put all the fastener parts in the component called "fasteners", because in the main assembly we need a BOM.
In the sheet BOM main assembly should be all Part Name fasteners and quantity, instead of the component with the name "fasteners".

In Solidworks, Inventor, NX, there are folders for grouping assembly parts. This makes it convenient to work.
You group the fasteners in the folder "Fasteners", but in the specification you have order, each bolt is grouped by quantity and does not write "fasteners" (assembly) 1 quantity. As it should be.

I've seen this requested before and the typical result is to put them into a subassembly. As @Anonymous said though, it completely screws up the BOM. This is a sorely needed fix and makes it very difficult to work with large assemblies, or even highly detailed assemblies with multiple fasteners.

Great idea! Struggling with the same problem

I've got designs with 100+ bolts, (double) washers and nuts it drives me crazy!

Putting them in a separate component really doesn't cut it, but it might work if Autodesk makes a better BOM that can work with multiple layers of components and subcomponents.

So please fix this
