Extrude, up to next

Extrude, up to next

Can you please, please, please add an extrude up to next feature the same as SolidWorks. If your sketch is smaller than a face on a body then the extrude up to object feature will suffice, but with complex geometry It just doesn't work. This feature is a real game changer!!!

Can you provide one of the complex examples where the to object option does not work.

If you're making some shape that fits around several bodies, you can either do a bunch of surface magic, intentionally overshoot your extrude, split the body, and remove the undesired part...... *or* use a extrude to next.

By the way, tip to the original poster here, some of the problem cases with to object can be dodged by selecting the body as the object rather than the face. Either use a body only selection filter or click on an edge of the body to efficiently select the body.

I also would really enjoy having this feature. It would save me a great deal of time when extruding up to multiple faces from a single plane.
