The ability to save a model as an Inventor assembly or part seems an obvious omission, especially as the industry standards are already there such as STEP and IGES.
It strikes me that a good workflow might be to design a sheet metal part in Fusion for example, but export it / transfer it direct into Inventor keeping the model intelligence ready for proper detailing using its enhanced drawing capabilities.
Another example is a part being started in Inventor, an impasse is reached where Fusion has better capabilities such as boundary void filling. The user imports the part to perform the operation, but then has to export it as STEP, re-import it into Inventor hence loosing all the previous model intelligence. Could AnyCAD be modified to accept native fusion files directly?
