With many other CAD programs, it is possible to export drawings inside of a STEP file. It would be great to incorporate this into Fusion 360, including exploring 3D splines in the STEP. Most software has that as a simple button in the export settings.
We are using 3D splines as tool paths but can only export them separately to the STEP file as a 3D DWG file and realign and merge them in a different program (Catia).
