Exploded views: Start Trail Line from pivot point or other custom location

The trail line (from the explode- or transform functions) will start at the heart of a component and will run to its original location. I would however prefer the trail line to start from a selectable point, as the heart of the component might not be in line with the point of assembly.  (See example below.)

 I feel like the simplest solution would be to link the position of the trail line to the position of the Pivot Point. However I can imagine some might prefer  Fusion to requests the position of the trail line when the Trail Line Visibility function is checked. Or maybe even the option to move both start- and end-point for most flexibility.

Please let me know what solution you think is best and feel free to add any suggestions.
