Enable zero to be accepted in sketch dimensions

Hi,

I wish the sketch dimensions could accept zero as a value. Currently it's not possible to hit enter after having typed in just zero.

The reason behind this idea, is that there are many times I would want to input zero where I think that I might need to adjust later. So instead of having to draw new geometry, and/or delete and reapply sketch constraints, it's easy to just input a value in the dimension that's already there. This is currently possible in Inventor.

It would be useful if you could set a zero or minu dimension. Sometimes while experimenting with an idea I've wanted to try different offsets including zero or moving the feature to the other side of the anchor point. One workaround is to toggle the dimension to driven, move to the other side then toggle back but you can't do this if you're using parameters. Here's a screencast of the workaround.

Yes, I just ran into this last night.  Started to submit the request but found yours.  This baffles me why you can't modify a dim to zero.  There are many instances where this comes in handy.

Yes, we agree this should. This is an inherent behavior of our solver. We are investigating how we can fix this and will keep you posted on our progress.

@keqingsong I don't know if you know this but you can set a dimension to zero or a minus value in the parameter manager. So it seems it just the dimension UI that can't handle zero or minus numbers.

It's been a little while since this had any attention it seems.

currently I am having to add holes and having to dimension the dots for those holes using the move tool instead of dimensions seems like a bad practice.

I am moving from Autodesk Inventor to fusion 360 and I just noticed this issue and it can be quite annoying because i use 0 sketch to line up sketches perfectly with specific reference points on my models. So i'm hoping this can still be added to fusion 360 as its possible with Inventor
