Edit sketch with no camera reorientation

Edit sketch with no camera reorientation

I looked this up in the forum and online elsewhere, did not seem to find it suggested. Apologies in advance if it is here already!

I frequently juggle with projected points, lines, etc., and rework existing sketches based on mental images of what is going on. However, when I click on Edit Sketch, Fusion 360 will reorient my view and scramble my visual map, making it difficult to keep ideas in place.  Example: when clicking on edit sketch, it will rotate this view 180° degrees and make it orthogonal.

My suggestion: It would be useful to open sketches with no cameras reorientation by default, and just clicking on "Look At" to go straight to the orthogonal view.

 Thanks!

Did you try disabling Auto Look At Sketch in preferences?

I did not until now Mark, and it does exactly what I had in mind.

Thank you!
