Draft on curved surface

Draft on curved surface

Hi everyone,

I can't draft on a curved surface. I don't know how to do it without getting some troubles.

The extrude feature doesn't allow me to draft the extrud cut (see pict 01 below)

And when I want to draft, Fusion tells me: Could not taper surface as requested....

I can get the result I want with the revolve feature (sketch with the angle I want).

Any ideas for the draft troubles?

Thanks!

You probably need to use an offset plane around halfway between the bottom and top of the void. See this example, in which the "draft surface" plane is used as a starting point for the draft.

In the draft command we need to be able to select a draft hinge curve.  This feature is standard in other design software.  Autodesk, please add this functionality as soon as possible.
