double click to loop select edges

double click to loop select edges

I often find myself having to select multiple edges in a chain. Would be great if there was a double clicking on an edge, and it would automatically select through the loop or chain of edges.

if you are referring to sculpt, something like this? http://autode.sk/1NrlooU

or are you solid modeling? 2015-08-12_1457.png

Like that, but for solid modeling.

I too want this for solids.

To be able to loops select edges, either by double click or by pressing L(oop).

Another feature which would make the UI behavior to be more consistent no matter how you are modelling.

Coming from a 3D modeling background, it does seem nutty and painful that you can't select an edge loop or select edges from a face selection.

Same here. I spend a lot of time just selecting edges - which is done in most 3d application by just using a shortcut or clicking with a modifier key.

Fusion has a lot of really cool and intuitive tools, but at the same time lacks some very basic things like loop selections or customizable shortcuts. This increases modelling time significantly.

Yeah this is an important feature and it feels missing. I can't see why this would be closed due to lack of votes. Maybe most people just assume it's already on its way due to being vital and elementary to any 3D cad or modeling program.

Folks, this is not really an Idea, it should be a bug. The ability to select a contour quickly then apply a fillet is a must in a product like this.
