When you use the cut or extrude through all feature with multiple components visible in an assembly the feature is applied to each component by default. I would prefer the feature to be applied only to the active component by default and then have the ability to select the additional components to apply the feature to. An "ALL VISIBLE" check box could be added to quickly apply the feature to multiple components also. The way the through all feature is currently, does not allow me to edit large assemblies smoothly. If you do not isolate the components to apply or edit the cut through feature to, the computer slows way down and depending on the complexity of the visible components sometimes will crash. This also minimizes the chance of applying a feature to a visible component unintentionally. I prefer to work with my assembly visible it is very slow to keep having to turn things on and off repeatedly.
