Custom or assignable View Keys

Custom or assignable View Keys

I see that customer hotkeys are now available for things in the menus which is great. However being able to assign a hot key and or mouse combination for viewing tools would be ideal. Currently I use the "SolidWorks" setting for mouse behavior as it is closest to what I want, however being able to fully assign these would be great. Along with assigning hot keys for standard views.

Other software I find valuable uses a "blueprint" style layout that I find handy. Looking at a 10 key pad CTRL 5 is the TOP view and from there it "folds" or projects like a box or blueprint. With 5 being the top looking at the pad, 2 is the front 8 is the back and 4 is the left while 5 is the right. 1,3,7,9 are the 4 ISO views looking into the part respectively. This while making 0 the bottom view.

Much more accessible that the View cube although that is handy as well. Viewing tools probably make up the most frequently used commands. So accessing these quickly as well as middle mouse CTRL/SHIFT combinations that can be more intelligently mapped not just for PAN/Zoom, but also Zoom in a box.

I use a variation of the "blueprint" style layout that you mentioned in SolidWorks and would give anything to have the ability to set up the same system in Fusion360.  CTRL 1 is my front view, CTRL 2 the left, and CTRL 3 the right.  Then CTRL 4, 5, and 6 are Isometric, dimetric, and trimetric views that I use to have a nice preview of the whole part from various angles.  Home view could potentially these here.  Then CTRL 7, 8, and 9 are Top, Bottom, and Back.  CTRL 0 is a "normal to" command that looks at whatever surface is selected.  It also works double duty to flip the part around 180 degrees if I'm already normal.  The number pad on the right of the keyboard and the numbers along the top row of the keyboard can also be used separately as different shortcuts which is awesome.  I would probably map the top row numbers (with control) to the view styles like they made in this new update and set up the number pad numbers (and control) like I currently use in SW.

I am really enjoying learning to use Fusion 360.  I spend 40 hours a week in Autodesk Maya.  It would be cool if Autodesk provided options for Pan/Zoom/Orbit mouse / keystrokes that match their other products (Maya, 3DS Max, Mudbox, etc).  It can be difficult to switch from one system to another.
