Custom backplates for rendering

With the local render option, the rendering tab of Fusion 360 is now awesome! To make it more useful, we need the ability to replace the background environment with a simple image backplate.

If you are use windows Download this application https://autohotkey.com/

 install and right click tray icon select "Edit This Sript"

Paste this code and close with save

+^1:: ; Hotkey is Shift + Control + 1 - Transparency ON
WinSet, Transparent, 150, A ; the active window
return
+^2:: ; Hotkey is Shift + Control + 2 - Transparency OFF
WinSet, Transparent, OFF, A ; the active window
return

open your backplate image with standart image opener

open fusion and hit "conrtol+shift+1"

Your fusion 360 window is transparent now

 

Transparent on "control+shift+1"

Transparent off "control+shift+2"

 

Render Transparent backgroun

Save as render and combine with photoshop etc
