Create construction geometry for mesh model.

Mesh model, on which construction gometry (Plane, axis, point) can be created, mesh model will be very useful in reverse engineering modeling. I hope that such a function will be added soon.
Best regards.

Don't know if you've figured this out but you can create a 3 point plane and a 2 point axis on a mesh. They don't snap to edges or vertices, only the surface of a mesh facet.

Can you explain how you do it with a notation?
Mesh model is what format (* .stl, * .obj, etc.).
I have tried many of them. However, I could not create any construction by choosing mesh surfaces. I could not create a plan by choosing what 3 mesh face. I could not create the axis by choosing 2 points on the mesh face. I'd appreciate it if you tell me how to do it with an impression (with video).

Don't have time at the moment but first click on the mesh, right click and select Edit Mesh from the right click menu. This should enter Mesh edit mode and the 3 point plane and 2 point axis should work. I used Insert Mesh to import meshes and this works on STLs and OBJ files. Not sure if it'll work on an open mesh.

I'm so sorry.
I missed this place. I usually try to create construction geometry in the modeling environment. However, in the Mesh editing environment, I believe that construction geometry can be created, but insufficient. Geomagic Design X has a lot more flexible options. At least I think it would be good to have some similar features.
Thank you for the information.
Best regards.

But in spite of everything, in the Create Mesh section, construction geometry creation is quite inadequate and needs to be improved. In the options I've tried because I can only perform the process by selecting the two options Mesh geometry face. It works like a tree point plane and two point axis. Other options may also become functional over time.
Best regards.
