cPlane without the need of another sketch line: cPlane object center point

cPlane without the need of another sketch line: cPlane object center point

Alias and such have an origin for each object

that origin includes:

scale position and rotation

I would love to be able to create custom cPlanes without having to always add a sketch first along which later I can align / create a cPlane.

For certain tasks that cool and needed - but I run often into the issue that I need to make the design extra complex to get the cPlanes where I want them.

with adding a cPlane with an object origin you will cut that task down to just creating the cPlane at

xyz position with its own xyz rotation value and done you are.

The object origin can then also be used as the sketch center x and y 0 point.

image below shows that if you want to make a sketch left somewhere in 3D space you need first to make a sketch that allows

you to define the rotation of the cPlane so that the sketch on the cPlane is at an angle.

this also is not ideal because I can only rotate the sketch along the well first sketch line.

so if I want to later rotate that sketch along a 2nd axis I need to do this:

make sketch

add cPlane

add sketch

add cPlane

finally add sketch onto desired world position on 2nd cPlane

with the proposed cplane it woudl be

make cplane where you want

rotate as needed

just add sketch

DONE
