This is a cove detail. I know it can be done using a sketch, but it would be helpful to be able to add this detail the same way a fillet can be added to a body.
I've spent the last hour trying to figure out an easy way to add a 3/8" radius cove (hollow) such as shown above to a model with a very complex edge. My first attempt was to use Fillet with a negative dimension. I was surprised it didn't work and that there was no option to switch from a round to a hollow (borrowing that term from the old wooden moulding planes). As suggested above, Pipe is easier than sweep, but still a lot more difficult than typing a negative number of checking a Hollow checkbox in Fillet.
