In the attached image, I created the tow circles at the top with the right hand circle having a diameter 2*d1, twice the diameter of the left hand circle.
I copied the two circles, and changed the dimension of the left circle. The new right circle, still had the formuala D1*2, not d3*2 as I would have expected.
Yes both ways would be useful. Also try using the photo option to insert your images so the show in the message, not sure why but I can't view images that are attached any more. You tend to get more interest if there are pictures in the request.
