Copy and Paste in Drawing

Copy and Paste in Drawing

Can we copy and past bodies from one document to another. I just did the whole convert to components then copy and past and its a huge pain. Plus it takes way to long. All the other 3D apps I have ever used allowed a very simple copy and past similar to Microsoft word.

Because Fusion has a timeline\history you can't just copy a body, if you turn history off Fusion will work like most other 3d apps and allows copying of pretty much anything.

If you want history you have to follow a few rules. If you create a base feature in the destination document you can paste a body into it while its active. The base feature is in effect a history free container in the timeline.

PS be careful taking about drawings with 3d apps as drawing are assumed to be 2d drawings. Best to use model or design to reduce confusion.
