My suggestion is for a Conduit or pipe Routing tool.
I imagine this working by selecting the start and finish points, the Components it should be routed on, the Maximum distance, bend radius etc. Perhaps also have a through routing option as well as the ability to edit points in the design like a spline edit or something. This would be RADICALLY easier then trying to lay out a spline in 3 dimensions then sweep it. It could also show interferences and perhaps a drop down of common pipe/conduit as well as allowing for custom sizes.
