CAM should inherit/calculate ALL modeled thread information

CAM should inherit/calculate ALL modeled thread information

When one models threads in Fusion 360 and then goes into CAM to cut those threads, the threading operation should pick up the modeled thread data such as thread pitch, (calculate) depth, major diameter, length of threads defined in model.  Currently one has to define parameters in both places.

I don't know, is there something I am supposed to do, or is something supposed ot happen automatically?

We agree.  This is not something that is beeing work on now.

But, it is something we plan to alloce resources too.

In gernral our feeling is "if you can find that data in a printed catalog, it is information that should be in the software"

Threading is a good example of this.
