Being able to manually add in lines in drawing

Being able to manually add in lines in drawing

The ability to draw in lines that arent neccesarily on the 3D model would save a huge amount of time in certain scenarios. I recently had a project with multiple variations of the same product, of which included creating multiple 3D models, this could have been prevented if I had the ability to draw one simple line by 'hand' in the drawing format. This is something I did quite often in Solidworks and use it not only to add-in lines, but as a measuring tool to space drawings as I wanted them.

Hope others feel the same and I havent missed anything here!

I would also add that layering, line coloration, dimension line off set flexibility, arrow head/tick/slash choices, line weights, etc. etc, etc. are important too. I am starting to loose hope that these things will actually be incorporated onto the app. I hope the F360 team is paying attention to what is going on over there at Desault. Draftsight is finally maturing into what Fusion should be in terms of of these kinds of drafting capabilities.

I suppose you get what you pay for in comparison to Desault, however this does not change the fact I am paying for Fusion. I am too losing hope, alot of the stuff I see on this forum has no fix and is several years old.

Anyway, for this feature idea, I cant imagine it'll be too much of a challenge ey fusion? its not like we can do it already in the design format....

Same issue here...

This is the point:

We have a 3 model from our customer and need to generate supplemental drawings to start manufacturing the product. We use SW to generate supplemental drawings from 3d models, but Fusion is still far away to replace SW. This is critical...

We bought a single license of Fusion and we are evaluating... I understand Fusion is still on development, but if you guys post an idea and this idea is on hold waiting to catch popularity that's the wrong way to categorize the idea.

My point is:
I'm spending a lot of time learning Fusion and suddenly realize I can't do my job because of a missing critical feature in the software.

I'm trying to customize Fusion drawing layouts to our corporate set up and is a pain in the butt...

But now I'm really disappointed because I can't generate supplemental drawings from 3d models.
I really need sketching tools in the drawing environment, to keep everything in the cloud and to avoid opening Draftsight/Autocad or any 3rd party software, and then upload my work to the cloud, and so on... This is insane!!!

Drawing need manual made: line, circle, axes

Sometimes I also feel the need of this when my client asks to modify some little portions. But I had to change the 3d first then the drawing. It would be so nice if fusion 360 makes a revolution in it. May be erase and add or trims...
I know it sounds unfamiliar. But I wish.
