Base Drawing View - Auto update appearance change on view placing

Hello,

when you create drawing and place Base view, you can set pretty much anything, but it will not update the view. You have to "click" OK and then open the editing window again. Now after you change the appearance setting, it can be seen right away. Autodesk told me that its a not bug and this is intentional... So can we please change it? It doesnt make any sense and it adds more unnnesecary clicks.
