A common workflow is to make a sketch, extrude, make another sketch on top of the body, and do an extruded cut in the opposite direction.
Currently that requires manually switching the direction of extrusion. Can we have the default direction determined automatically depending on extrusion type?
For join operations it should default to the direction opposite to the side the body is on. For cut and intersect operations it should be the opposite.
At the very least, if the distance is set to "through all", change it to the direction that would actually go through anything?
Solidworks has this and it's a little thing that I really miss. The default extrude direction is almost always wrong in my workflow, and that's 2 extra clicks per extrude.
Thanks!
