automatically recognize inside / outside contures with 2D milling

Hello,

Currently I have to click on the 2D contour milling inside and outside contours individually. This can be very complex when I have many contours.
I suggest that inside and outside contours be automatically recognized by F360. This could save a lot of time.
If the feature is already implemented then I would like a tip.

Yes, in at leats 95% of the times the software should get it right.

Can you make a short video, possibly with Screencast: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/community/screencast

So we can see what is going on?

Alright I think I understand your problem now.

It's not that the contours for inside and outside are different, you just want all bottom edges to be selected automatically.

I thought the system was cutting the outside when you wanted the inside for example.

You could use a 3D Contour for example.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting your idea.
Could you may change the title a bit that we can gather more support?

I think @Laurens-3DTechDraw used a great wording. The auto selection of "bottom edges" is what we are looking for.

Thank you for your help

@Mike.Grau

I'm pretty sure OP can't change the Idea himself anymore.

Forum moderators can only do this.
