Auto-enable "rename" field when creating a component (and other things)

When one "creates" a component by right-clicking the browser

One most often want to immediately change the default name. For this, one has to double-click onto the component name in the browser to get the cursor in the field and type:

I would like to propose, that this step is automated:

Creating a new component automatically selects the component and puts the cursor for rename.

If one is happy with the "default name" one only need to hit enter or just continue working (clicking anywhere else), so it does not impede on anyone's workflow but it speeds up "renaming-workflows" a lot.

Indeed, while I propose it for "new components" here, I think the same can be done for nearly every method that "creates" an object which can be subsequently renamed.

This might be a solution for creating a new component. I want to be able to define the name of sketches, features etc. during the creation process. I placed an idea here: Rename features / planes / scripts etc. during creatio

Yes, when there is one component, when we create new component, it must be inherited from one name or dragable like excel auto list....

+1 on this idea. How long does something stay under review before it is applied?

Completely agree, I'm forever hitting a random selection of keyboard shortcuts as I reflexively and immediately start to type the new name, a habit I've acquired from every other piece of CAD software I've used (nearly all of them)

Won't someone think of the children?  (transitioning users)
