Going to post this as a separate request from other "drawing improvements" requests.
I was browsing through the awesome Fusion 360 model of the Apollo Command Module egress hatch (see here: https://3d.si.edu/apollo11cmhatch?fbclid=IwAR1EO0CTUskUro6kpPc1yuoOlt0hLRIhHQSaofbHpcyWO6hhba_iX0P5w...)
Totally amazing to see all that work, and to be able to browse it all in Fusion 360.
I printed out some drawings of the various parts... and wow what a chore it is to find drawings. No references to which pdf drawing is which part number, the bill of materials is inaccurate in many places (gearbox assembly was the one I noticed first), no revision control etc. etc.
Dynamic reference to drawings doesn't exist in Fusion 360, the entire drawing set for this awesome project provides a really good example of why that is needed 🙂
