Apparent Inspect Tools

Hello

I'm really struggling with the inspection tools within F360.

Would it be possible to have 'apparent' options available within the inspect tools for example:- I am looking at my design and need to find the distance between two points. Now, if I choose the two lines there is no guarantee that the lines I have chosen will be in the same plane which I am viewing the model. Hence the phrase above'

In addition, would it be possible to increase the functionality of the inspection tools generally -at the moment they are too rigid/regimented in their operation

Totally agree! So many times I just want to get a distance and there is no X or Y value. All you get is the shortest path. My modeling time is horrible because 'inspection' isn't giving me what I need without picking up my calculator and doing too much math just to get simple distances. Why can't I specify between hole centers or hole edges? SolidWorks is so much better in this respect.
