Animation storyboard function improvements

Animation storyboard function improvements

First let me say that I was very pleased with what I was able to accomplish with the animation module. Someone posted that we were asking too much of the software..maybe we are, but you never know unless you ask right? I was able to take a very large model and hide it and make it reappear a piece at a time just like it was being assembled. It's possible that the components and functionality I want already exist and I just don't understand how to make it work correctly.

So here are the improvements I would like

1) I would like the storyboard order to be independent of the treeview order or an option to make it independent. This will greatly improve on the ability to make transitions from one component or body to the next, like if you want things done sequentially, but they are not sequential in the tree view. Very difficult and frustrating once the storyboard reverts back to treeview on you.

2) A split row view so that I can still see my camera views even if I'm way down the tree or storyboard. This will definitely help with properly combining views and panning, moving with transformations of components and bodies.

3) It would be nice to be able to import and export a csv of your storyboard. Maybe it would help you order your storyboard properly. You could use formulas to build off of transformations as far as duration and timing, etc, then paste it back into a csv file to be re-imported.

Can you add a view or add a camera move after the fact? After a story board has been created? Or can you splice it in?

I'm learning more about the animation module and I love it. Thank you!

Kelly

Actually, in addition to this, the ability to move components up and down in the storyboard is a little quirky/touchy too. Hard to make them stick. if you had a move up / move down set of buttons to promote or demote components and bodies up and down in the timeline, that would be helpful too.
