I have found that if my edges of a face of T-spline are skewed on one side then when I insert an edge loop this new edge tries to "follow" the curvature of edges from one edge to the other. If this face has a very different angle between the two faces then it becomes impossible to add a parallel edge to one side as it begins to angle the minute its created. It would be nice to have an option of the angle of attack of the new edge loop - this way you can control the angle of this new edge loop. There are so many instances when you need to add parallel edges to non uniform faces.
