I'm building complex assemblies of other complex assemblies and quite often need to isolate sub-components by their type in the grand assembly. For example, isolate all of the optical components in a microscope. However, isolating sub-components in the imported assemblies isn't allowed. In order to isolate them, one has to break all the links with the original components first. Unless I'm missing something, the request is rather simple: allow to isolate any components in the assembly, be they a part of the imported part or not.
